Commonwealth War Graves commemorates more than 1.7 million men and women of the Commonwealth Forces who died in The Great War and the Second World War. The organisation receives funding from 6 member governments and maintains cemeteries throughout the world.
As well as maintaining cemeteries and graves across the globe, Commonwealth War Graves also holds records on the dead. This includes many thousands of civilian casualties including those who died as a result of the Belfast Blitz.
