Dr. Gerard Patrick McCloskey M.D. was a fatal casualty of the Belfast Blitz during the Second World War. He lived with his wife Ellen Winifred McCloskey at Eastwoods Park Crescent, Emsworth, Hampshire, England at the time of the Luftwaffe attack on Belfast.
He was the son of John McCloskey and Agnes McCloskey of 58 Kings Road, Belfast. Gerard Patrick McCloskey died on 16th April 1941 aged 41 years old at Mater Infirmorum Hospital, Belfast. He sustained injuries on 16th April 1941 at 10 Antrim Road, Belfast.
