Isabella Artt

Civilian Isabella Artt died as a result of enemy action during the Belfast. Her husband continued to appeal for her whereabouts in newspapers in June 1941.

Civilian Isabella Artt was a fatal casualty of the Belfast Blitz during the Second World War. She lived at 1 Torrens Road, Belfast at the time of the Luftwaffe attack on the city.

Isabella Artt died on 16th April 1941 aged 35 years old at 1 Torrens Road, Belfast.

Missing from her home 1 Torrens Road, Belfast since April 16. Isabella Artt, age 35, about 5ft 3ins, dark hair, brown eyes, one tooth missing from top row. When last seen was being taken in ambulance from 28 Torrens Road and was wearing jumper, skirt, and housecoat. Any information gratefully received by her husband at 26 Joanmount Gardens.
