Civilian James Henry Clarke was a fatal casualty of the Belfast Blitz during the Second World War. He lived with his wife Mabel Alexandra Clarke at Glenrosa House, Glenrosa Street South, Belfast at the time of the Luftwaffe attack on the city.
James Henry Clarke died on 16th April 1941 aged 29 years old at 19 Hogarth Street, Belfast. James Henry Clarke’s grave is with his wife Mabel Alexander Clarke in Carnmoney Cemetery, Carnmoney, Co. Antrim. A funeral service took place at 1030hrs on 20th April 1941 from Messrs. Melville and Co. Ltd., Townsend Street, Belfast.
