Jeremiah O’Brien

Seaman Jeremiah O’Brien served in the Merchant Navy during the Second World War. He was a fatal casualty of the Belfast Blitz. He was the son of John O’Brien of 11 Barrington Street, Aberfan, Merthyr Tydfil, Wales.

Jeremiah O’Brien died on 7th May 1941 aged 28 years old at Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast. He sustained injuries on 5th May 1941 while serving on S.S. Seminole at Belfast.
