Civilian Josias McCarey was a fatal casualty of the Belfast Blitz during the Second World War. He lived at 17 Kilronan Street, Belfast at the time of the Luftwaffe attack on the city.
He was the son of Josias McCarey and Christina McCarey of Ballyknock, Lurgan, Co. Armagh. Josias McCarey died on 16th April 1941 aged 27 years old at 17 Kilronan Street, Belfast.
