Civilian Margaret Campbell was a fatal casualty of the Belfast Blitz during the Second World War. She lived at 7 Burke Street, Belfast at the time of the Luftwaffe attack on the city.
Margaret Campbell died on 16th April 1941 aged 70 years old at 7 Burke Street, Belfast. On 12th June 1941, Margaret Campbell’s name was among those at an inquiry held by the Coroner of Belfast at Belfast City Hall into the presumed deaths of those missing since the raids.
Burke Street no longer stands in North Belfast, demolished and cleared after almost total destruction by Luftwaffe bombs during the Belfast Blitz.
