Civilian Mary Ann McDermott was a fatal casualty of the Belfast Blitz during the Second World War. She lived with her parents J. McDermott and Mary Kathleen McDermott, and brother Patrick McDermott at 44 Veryan Gardens, Greencastle, Co. Antrim at the time of the Luftwaffe attack on the city.
