Civilian William Holden was a fatal casualty of the Belfast Blitz during the Second World War. He lived with his wife Jeannie Holden at 8 Lower Clara Crescent, Bloomfield, Belfast at the time of the Luftwaffe attack on the city.
He was the son of the late William Holden and the late Elizabeth Holden of 92 Bright Street, Belfast. William Holden died on 5th May 1941 aged 48 years old at Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast. He sustained injuries on 5th May 1941 at Ribble Street, Belfast.
