Burke Street no longer stands in North Belfast, demolished and cleared after almost total destruction by Luftwaffe bombs during the Belfast Blitz.

Civilian Mary Ann Anderson lived in Burke Street in North Belfast. Luftwaffe bombs destroyed the street causing the death of many residents in 1941.
Georgina Brown was one of several members of the extended family to die at 18 Burke Street on 16th April 1941 as Luftwaffe bombers destroyed the area.
