Francis Ernest "Ernie" Caldwell of Glasgow Street, Belfast died on 16th April 1941 as a result of Luftwaffe bombing during the Easter Raid of the Belfast Blitz.
Civilian Francis Ernest Caldwell was a fatal casualty of the Belfast Blitz during the Second World War. Known as Ernie, he lived at 17 Glasgow Street, Belfast at the time of the Luftwaffe attack on the city.
Born on 24th February 1914, he was the son of Mary Ellen Caldwell of 183 York Park, Belfast. Francis Ernest Caldwell died on 16th April 1941 aged 27 years old at 21 Glasgow Street, Belfast.
