Hannah Bell

Civilian Hannah Bell was 70 years old at the time of the Luftwaffe raids on Belfast. She died at her Disraeli Street home during the Easter Raid of the Blitz.

Civilian Hannah Bell was a fatal casualty of the Belfast Blitz during the Second World War. She lived at 61 Disraeli Street, Belfast at the time of the Luftwaffe attack on the city.

Hannah Bell died on 16th April 1941 aged 56 years old at 70 Disraeli Street, Belfast. Her daughter Margaret Drummond died alongside her. Hannah Bell’s grave is in Section I1, Grave 437 of Belfast City Cemetery, Belfast. A funeral service took place from Messrs. Melville and Co. Ltd., Townsend Street, Belfast at 1100hrs on 24th April 1941.
