Messrs. Melville and Co. Ltd. in North Belfast conducted the funeral arrangements of many of those who died as a result of enemy action in 1941.

Civilian Elizabeth Anderson of Sylvan Street, Belfast died on 16th April 1941 at Mater Infirmorum Hospital as a result of injuries in the Belfast Blitz.
Civilian Hannah Bell was 70 years old at the time of the Luftwaffe raids on Belfast. She died at her Disraeli Street home during the Easter Raid of the Blitz.
8th April 1941
Firewatcher Thomas George Bell of 2 Beit Street, Belfast died on 8th April 1941 as bombs fell on the shipyard of Harland and Wolff Ltd. during the Docks Raid.
David Edward Bothwell and several other members of the family died as a result of the Luftwaffe bombs that fell on Dock Street, Belfast in April 1941.
Peggy Mary Bothwell and several other members of the family died as a result of the Luftwaffe bombs that fell on Dock Street, Belfast in April 1941.
5th May 1941
Sarah Jane Boyd died on 5th May 1941 aged 69 years at her home at Carew Street as Luftwaffe bombers attacked Belfast's shipyards in the Fire Raid of the Blitz.
Lily Hutchinson died alongside several other family members at 261 York Street, Belfast on 16th April 1941 as the Luftwaffe attacked the north of the city.
Martin Hutchinson died alongside several other family members at 261 York Street, Belfast on 16th April 1941 as the Luftwaffe attacked the north of the city.
May Hutchinson died alongside several other family members at 261 York Street, Belfast on 16th April 1941 as the Luftwaffe attacked the north of the city.

Mary or May Elizabeth Vannan of 16 York Park, Belfast died on 7th May 1941 at Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast following the Luftwaffe raid on 5th May 1941.
