Annie Black of Barbour Street in Greencastle, Co. Antrim was one of six members of the family who died as a result of the Belfast Blitz on 5th May 1941.
Civilian Annie Black was a fatal casualty of the Belfast Blitz during the Second World War. She lived with her daughters Hessie Black, Eva Black, Evelyn Black, and Hazel Black, and son James Black at 18 Barbour Street, Greencastle, Co. Antrim at the time of the Luftwaffe attack on the city.
She was the widow of the late Francis Black. Annie Black died on 5th May 1941 aged 57 years old at 18 Barbour Street, Greencastle, Co. Antrim.
