Eva Black of Barbour Street in Greencastle, Co. Antrim was one of six members of the family who died as a result of the Belfast Blitz on 5th May 1941.
Civilian Eva Black was a fatal casualty of the Belfast Blitz during the Second World War. She lived with her mother Annie Black, sisters Hessie Black, Evelyn Black, and Hazel Black, and brother James Black at 18 Barbour Street, Greencastle, Co. Antrim at the time of the Luftwaffe attack on the city.
She was the daughter of the late Francis Black. Eva Black died on 5th May 1941 aged 21 years old at Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast. She sustained injuries on 5th May 1941 at 18 Barbour Street, Greencastle, Co. Antrim.
